Abstract

Introduction Social support as one of the most important variables influencing the success of the development, welfare, and welfare programs of the nursing community and examining its effects on the nursing profession facilitates the ground for planning for interventions in this field. Based on this, the present study was conducted with the aim of a systematic review of the study of texts and the use of the author's experiences and the opinions of experts in the field with the aim of the effects of social support in nursing and midwifery. Methods In this structured review, all studies conducted in and out of the country during the years 2008-2018 using the keywords nursing, midwifery, social support, nursing support, midwifery support and medical support for domestic databases And external were examined and the data were analyzed using Systematic review method; The selected articles were collected according to the entry criteria and finally examined more closely. Results After searching the databases and extracting a large number of articles, 160 articles were reviewed based on the title and abstract, and finally 18 articles were reviewed in this review. The relationship between social support and each of the components of public health, organizational culture, burnout, and citizenship behavior in the nursing and midwifery profession was discussed. Conclusion: Nursing and midwifery group is one of the most important jobs under the influence of social support approach due to direct communication with patients and authorities to health centers. Therefore, laying the groundwork for social protection and the components affected by it is a necessity in health policy. © 2020 by Advance Scientific Research.
