Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine whether administration of prebiotics reduces the incidence of hyperbilirubinaemia among term and preterm infants compared with enteral supplementation of milk with distilled water or no supplementation. © 2017 The Cochrane Collaboration.
