Abstract
Neurologists are well aware of visual disturbances associated with multiple sclerosis (MS) among which, ‘Idiopathic demyelinating optic neuritis’ (IDON) is almost always the cause. Wisely, diagnosis and management of presumed IDON cases necessitate a joint effort by neurologists and ophthalmologists. Lack of inter-specialty collaboration may lead to diagnostic confusion. In a report of , 10% of referrals to an exclusive optic neuritis clinic were diagnosed incorrectly
